Bush Fire care and support for orphans

Bush Fire Ministries has been involved in the provision of the 5 elements of psycho social support to orphans and vulnerable children which are as follows:
1. Social support
2. Physical support
3. Emotional support
4. Spiritual support

Orphans and vulnerable children has been helped to fully enjoy their lives and have a sense of belonging to the family even after the death of their beloved ones as they they think that after the death of their parents it means the end of life.

Bush Fire has the social programmes, interaction with the community members for the orphans that are in residence at the orphanage, they do not just stay at the orphanage but they have time to get back to the roots tracing their extended family systems to up hold african cultural systems.

Bush Fire believes that by keeping children at the orphanage some cultural norms can be broken therefore, they have time to interact with children from the community, visiting their extended family members and allowing the family members to have time to visit the centre.

The extended family members have also been offered some training to adquately revisit their African system of taking care of orphans after the death of their own relatives because in Africa the issue of orphans never existed because each one was taking care of the children left by their relatives.

The communities were also involved in taking care of children with singleness of heart and purpose, it was every ones child. Bush fire Mnistries has been involved in strengthening the African extended family systems so that the orphans are benefiting and not to be left to live like destitutes without a future.

God has a better future for the orphaned children and as the ministry we are involved in christian education.
Bush Fire is a christian organisation whose strong foundation is the word of God bringing people to a realisation that they have got great portencial to do exceeding good prosperous things in life regardless of their status . Looking at each person as the God's child.
